Biocide-free treatment of process water in cooling towers and air scrubbers

There are various applications for our HP System at airports: Since many indoor areas in airports are air-conditioned, the HP-System is used in water-based air scrubbers and cooling towers for air-conditioning. It prevents the water from becoming contaminated and sanitizes the water without the use of chemical additives. It is cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and efficient. Another application is the treatment of rainwater that accumulates on the huge areas of an airport. The rainwater can then be fed into service water and used, for example, to flush toilets. Last but not least, the cooling towers can also be reliably sanitized.

By breaking down the biofilm, heat transfer and thus efficiency in the cooling systems can be significantly increased, which in turn reduces energy consumption. A particular advantage over other processes is that the dead biomass is dissolved by cold oxidation and no "food" is created for renewed germination.
