Remove microorganisms from ballast water on seagoing vessels without chemicals

In order to improve their stability, ocean-going ships take on so-called ballast water. Tiny organisms such as plankton, invertebrates, fish larvae, and pathogens will get into the tanks. These organisms will be introduced into foreign ecosystems where the water is later drained. There, they can disturb the ecological balance or cause economic damage. The HP-System helps to microbiologically clean ballast water in ships without using chemicals.
